Robert van den Bergh (1968) is director of Blanchard International since 2006. He studied psychology and communication in the Netherlands and Germany. For the past ten years, he has been a trainer, consultant and manager at the training and consulting firm VDS, an organisation specialized in interventions in the field of leadership, sales, service and cultural change. Van den Bergh’s work mainly addresses communication as the basis of cultural change, and the impact of leadership. With regard to leadership, he follows the concept of Ken Blanchard, known as Situational Leadership II and the One Minute Manager. In combination with the concept of Servant Leadership, Van den Bergh co-developed the new concept of Sustainable Leadership. He trained and coached more than 2500 leaders of various organizations (from top executives to team leaders) in leadership effectiveness. Since 2007, he is, together with Anastasia Kellermann, also managing director of 2LEAD4US, a company specialized in sustainable leadership training and coaching according to the sustainable leadership 4US™ model.
